Lazy August
I have no drive to do any major projects this month. Instead, I relaxed, and let myself sit on the couch this weekend, while watching movies, platform diving and enjoying a thunderstorm. I also crocheted my little heart out.
We're talking about approximately 10 square feet of crochet! (Maybe)
I'm loving it. For someone who has a tendency to get bored easily, the quick change of colors each row perks me right up. I tried not to feel guilty about not being "productive", and just enjoy my laid back August. Does anyone else have problems getting things done in late summer?
Here's a photo to give you an idea of scale on this blanket. I can use it as an escape ladder from the second floor the next time a neighbor has a grease fire...
I am running out of scrap yarn. This may just have to be a work in progress, for the next few years, while I obtain more stash. I'm hesitant to use any of my Koigu mill ends, which are slated for Charlotte's Web, but I did cheat a bit...

wow! It's incredible that you call yourself not productive! I say you are very prolific with your craft :)
As always, looks beautiful.
Ah, beauty and function all rolled into one! Not you, the blanket, silly (you said you could use it as an escape ladder).
WOW! I love that! The colors are fantastic!
Dang! That thing is huge!
Oh my goodness, can I ever relate! I've been painting a lot around the new apartment, but I can't get myself to lift my knitting needles. I hate my camo blanket, but I haven't anything else that makes me want to knit either. Plus, it's for my nephew, so I should be enthusiastic about it. I miss you girls. I've completely lost my knitting momentum. Hugs!
And thank you for the precious, sweet card. Bless your sweet little heart!
Have I ever told you that you are amazing?
