In other news, I had the great pleasure of seeing my friend Magda's artwork in a show last night with Lisa and Robin. As Lisa aptly told Magda's father, "Magda is like the sun, when she walks in, everyone gravitates toward her and becomes happy." Mind you, Lisa was imitating a sunflower rather well, it was tres cute.
There was a Latina vibe at the show, so we left craving Mexican food. I had my first cactus and sweet potato burrito, and must say, it will not be the last!
Oh how I yearn to speak conversational Spanish one day!

I keep thinking that watching Spanish lang. movies + Mexican variety shows on Telemundo will get me there.

What a wonderful idea, to do these color studies. I particularly love the one in this post. I also want to learn conversational Spanish. My Mom teaches Spanish to 7th & 8th graders, so I would only need to ask her for help. Sigh.
