It's been a long time since I was this little. Thirty years in fact today!

Green Cowboy Boots

During the summer I lived in Vegas, I developed a yearning for bright blue or green cowboy boots. I never got them. But perhaps someday...



Either way, I'm enjoying my gouache and pastels!

Butternut Squash & Cannellini Soup

Hello, again! It's been awhile, hasn't it? I've been hibernating and trying to focus on studying for the LEED test in December. Hot chocolate and marshmallows are helping.



I've also been l-o-v-i-n-g making soup lately. You must try this recipe for Butternut Squash & Cannellini Soup with Bacon from Bon Appetit. I had some for dinner last night, for lunch today, and still want some more. Just trust me.



I'll admit, it's not the prettiest soup, but it is delicious. I wish you could all stop by and I'd feed you some!
