A long time ago I watched a making of Harriet The Spy promo (don't laugh) and the director had on a pair of the most wonderful shade of burnt orange corduroy pants. OK, maybe you had to see them, but since then I have looked for burnt orange corduroy pants every time I've gone to a thrift store.
May you one day get your *REAL* green boots.
Vegas, hu?
Na-na-na-na-na-na, Susan posted that it's your b-day. Well, happy birthday to ya.
I used to have red cowboy boots when I was a little one and have always wanted a pair since. But when I got mine last year I went with sensible tan. But the next pair will definitely be red!
I have been "just winging it" since I got my Fisher Price weaving loom in kindergarten and my first set of watercolors at 3.
I have a new blog now, please join me at:

I love to figure things out, and make things work.
This blog is kind of a "show and tell" for my family and friends, and also a place where I've been lucky to make some new crafty friends.
It actually should be called Vanillabean Does Not Knit, since I've been seriously slacking. Lately, I've been doing lots of baking and drawing.
